An important historical aspect of our organization is the preservation of railroad history.  Over the years we have acquired a large number of books, magazines, and videos relating to railroad history and model railroading.  Some of the holdings were purchased outright by the Amarillo Railroad Museum, but many were graciously donated by members and friends of the organization. To those people we extend our sincere thanks.

     At the present time, members of the museum and visitors making a prior request to use the holdings are welcome.  We cannot, however loan materials by mail.

     If you wish to donate books, magazines, or any digital material, please look over the following lists and see if you have something we can use. In the case of rare or expensive materials, please contact us and perhaps we can make it worth your effort.
